An initial consultation is essential for the healer to make a diagnosis. He or she does this through connecting with the divine as well as through your ancestors or guiding spirits. Each healer uses different tools to make this connection such as oracle or sacred bone readings- depending on how he/she works, and/or the client's preferences. Clients can also come with specific questions or challenges they would like to get guidance on. Once the healer has assessed the issue, he/she will recommend a treatment plan if needed.
