Mosa Rametse is an Environmental Education Specialist at Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo, where she works in environmental education, community awareness and greening initiatives across Johannesburg. With a background in Horticulture, Management and Environmental Education, Mosa is passionate about connecting communities, particularly young people, with nature and promoting practical environmental stewardship. Her work includes environmental awareness programmes, tree-planting and urban greening initiatives, community engagement, environmental exhibitions and educational events. She is also interested in Indigenous Knowledge, traditional approaches to environmental conservation and developing her leadership and management skills within the environmental sector.
